By Paul Purgas | Interactive Light & Sound Installation by Xperiential Design Incedentals 1 for A Haptic Score transforms a room at the old JMC into a living synthesizer. Using depth cameras, custom analog projectors, and an 8-channel audio system, the installation tracks participants’ positions—each touch of projected light generates evolving soundscapes. The work explores themes of spatialized composition and gestural interaction, integrating sound, spoken word, musical fragments, archival recordings, and spatial feedback. Inspired by early experimental media at NID Ahmedabad and global avant-garde explorations, it links body, space, and sound, creating an immersive instrument that responds in real time to presence and movement. By combining cutting-edge tracking and projection technology with a deep understanding of modernist design and musical philosophy, A Haptic Score makes the invisible rhythms of interaction tangible, turning the room itself into a responsive, ecosystem
